Joico has introduced a British-inspired, salon-only range called STRUCTURE, with fifteen fashion-forward hair products featuring a tattoo illustration label.
STRUCTURE has styling products for both men and women and the hair care range will be released soon.
It is targeted at consumers interesting in style and trend-setting, with a more edgy graphic, drawing on references to ‘Cool Britannia.’
There’s an interestingly-titled Foundation spray, designed to prep and prime wet hair before blowdrying, as well as your more usual styling clay (Sculpt), hard gel (Control), and a flexible adhesive called Paste.
Three more styling products are coming later: Finish, Beach, and Dust – which sound from their names like a hairspray, a salt spray and a mattifying powder.
I am wearing Shape to slick down flyaways on my ponytail. Shape is a mouldable texture creme with a medium hold factor of 3 out of 5.
STRUCTURE is available from selected salons throughout New Zealand. Call 0800 456 456 for stockists.
STRUCTURE was behind the stunning hair looks at this week’s Jimmy D gallery installation of his Spring Summer collection. Hair by Nic Apaapa for Structure was pulled up in a black tape-wrapped ponytails and pigtails atop the crown, or pulled back behind the head and hanging down straight, as pictured below.
