People often ask what I’m using right now, so here’s a few of my favourite things at the moment. These aren’t press release shots, so if some look a bit well, used, that’s cos they are

"What do you put on your hair?"

"What lipstick is your top pick?"

I get asked these a lot, and to be honest the answer changes frequently as I get to try lots of new products. Some I love, some less so.

So here’s what I’m using right now, and it’s just a few of my favourite things at the moment.

These aren’t press release shots, so if some look a bit well, used, that’s cos they are.

Here’s my Deadly Ponies "Mr Ribbon Sling" handbag, and I’ll list the products below it.

I am using this Casio EXH30BK camera everyday and love it; the macro gets up really close – I can capture my cat’s whiskers – and it takes a picture instantly without that annoying time lag between pressing the shutter until it takes the picture (i.e. after the moment you wanted to capture has passed.) It’s a good handbag size, too.

Pureology is a range I’ve used off and on since they released their colour care shampoo and conditioner and now they have a styling product range. Kelly Latu at Blaze put me onto the Colour Stylist Strengthening Control zero dulling hairspray for colour treated hair.

I use a small coin size of Moroccanoil each time I wash my hair before drying. I’ve also heard Argania brand argan oil is excellent and half the price, so I may try that soon.

Essensity is the paraben-free, more natural line from Schwarzkopf. I like the Smoothing Cream as a pre-blowdry product.

I use Trilogy aromatic body oil to smooth onto skin.

Elizabeth Arden Sheer Lights Illuminating Pen for dark under eye circles. Getting a LOT of usage lately.

TopShop blush in Sunsweep is a cute wee product to dab on cheeks then blend in.

Clarins Extra Firming Foundation SPF15 in Ivory gives a dewy finish and lasts ages.

For a heavier coverage, I use Revlon PhotoReady foundation compact with a handy sponge pad applicator.

I’m using Nimue Stemplex Serum in the mornings before applying primer and foundation.

Two nude lippies for everyday, one matte and one gloss: Karen Murrell lipstick in cordovan natural, and MAC lipglass in Lust.

Grown Facial Cleanser. Their Geranium leaf, bergamot and rosebud cleanser is a delicate foaming cleanser I use at night, followed by Inika eye and make-up remover.

The Jojoba Company has this little bottle of Pure Australian Golden Jojoba which is really reasonable priced and as you can see- empty now! I use it on my face at night. My other night cream is Sukin night cream which I used during pregnancy when I tried to use all natural products.
