Smashbox Masquerade Collection 2010 lets you disguise – or reveal – yourself, with a range of hues perfect for night.

The eye-shadow compact with mirror, pictured below, has nine shades in a selection of both matte and shimmer, in neutrals and deep shades. We particularly liked the indigo ink, the aubergine purple shade, and the khaki green, as well as the creams and browns that no woman can do without.

The Baked Fusion Soft Light Palette ($41, not pictured) is a bronzing powder palette also with nine shades, which can be swirled together to give a luminous glow to skin.

Masquerade Liquid liner in bronze ($34, pictured below) is so innovative; it has both a liner brush AND a rod. Line eyes with the fine brush, and then use the grooved rod to apply product on top of your mascara for a bronze metallic effect to your mascara.

Masquerade Creamy Cheek ($56, pictured below) is our top pick of the range, with its short fat brush to blend the cream blush colour into cheeks. The wind-up cream stick is at one end, and the blending brush at the other, so it’s an all-in-one wonder glow stick.
