BECCA has just released this – their newest foundation franchise, the Ever Matte Collection – and Thread couldn’t wait to get our hands on the new Shine Proof Foundation and Poreless Priming Perfector to try.

The new Priming Perfector may be used underneath make-up, or over foundation as a liquid powder. It’s aimed specifically at oil-prone skin but is perfect for anyone to make your makeup last. They call it "liquid blotting paper" to give your skin a clean slate from oil that shifts foundation during the day.

Amazing results! It definitely does what it says. If you like the finish of a silicone primer but don’t want to use silicones for healthy reasons you will love this. It’s cruelty-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, and has no alocohol, oil or fragrance.

Next up, the foundation. I tried Buttercup; here’s a swatch of it below. I like BECCA’s colour ranges; I have yellow undertones and find so many foundations are too pink for me. This was really nice on without being too pale or pink and gave a slight warmth to skin and looked really natural and healthy. You can build up the warmth with BECCA bronzers to achieve the finished look you desire.
