We love the beautiful floral prints that house the mineral bronzing powder inside.
‘Bronze in Bloom,’ Elizabeth Arden’s bronzing colour story, is a breathe of fresh air from the usual black packaging which although sleek, is nowhere near as fun as this trip into Moroccon markets – or a 70s retro wardrobe.
The new multi-colour skin illuminator, Pure Finish Mineral Bronzing Powder, highlights cheekbones, décolletage and shoulders, and two new Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Quads brighten eyes with chic neutrals and petal-pretty hues of blue.
Thread tried out their Pure Finish Mineral Foundation with its pure ground mechanism a while back and this powder is similar with its twist and grinding compact for a fresh dose each time.
The Pure Finish Mineral Bronzing Powder in new Bronze Glow ($6contains minerals, mica, sea water complex, Aloe and Vitamins A, C and E. It is oil free, talc free, and fragrance free.
Look at these oh – so – pretty eye colour shades in the Color Intrigue Eyeshadow Quad in two new quartets. I tried Golden Lilac which has four coordinated shades in lavender, silvery blue, mink brown and midnight grey, which go with all the grey shades I wear. For those into blue, how about Blue Breeze, with four shades of pretty blues to colour, contour, highlight and line eyes.
And for a touch of summery colour on cheeks, there’s Pure Finish Mineral Cheekcolor in new Sun-kissed Rose and Sun-kissed Coral. The blusher comes with its own mini angled kabuki brush and is also oil free, talc free, and fragrance free.
Below: The Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil ($41) in new Blue Sky and Black Violet, a cream pencil with a powder finish. Use the smudge tip to create a smoky look.
Glisten up with High Shine Lip Gloss ($41) in new Tropicoral. This glamorous, glossy formula, with its soft barely-there scent, glides over lipstick for brilliant shine.
Bronze in Bloom will be hitting Elizabeth Arden counters from mid-August, just in time for Spring.
