Easy as 1,2,3

I was surprised to see that there was actually a noticeable difference between the settings on the new 1,2,3 Looks Mascara by Rimmel. I started cautiously on the first setting – I think this would be suitable for daytime or those with paler lashes…

Bigger, bolder, brasher seems to be the catch cry of many this season, and 1,2,3 Looks Mascara by Rimmel is certainly no exception; an adjustable mascara with three settings for three different looks.

I will admit to being quite sceptical before trying the product. I couldn’t see how one mascara could produce three different levels of coverage.

A simple twist dial in the body of the tube allows you to choose which setting you want, from between 1 – the least volume, to 3 – high impact eyelashes with apparently 10 times more volume.

I was surprised to see that there was actually a noticeable difference between the settings. I started cautiously on the first setting. I think this would be suitable for daytime or those with paler lashes. I quickly moved to the last setting and noticed an obvious difference. The wand obviously becomes loaded with more mascara thus making your lashes thicker and darker – great for evenings out, or days when you are feeling not so subtle.

I have found myself using the second setting the most – perhaps a little reflective of my sit-on-the-fence personality!

I think 1,2,3 Looks Mascara would be a good addition to your make-up case, taking your eyes from day to evening – and in between – with one product with a twist.
