It comes as no surprise that we often say, "this looks good enough to eat" about new makeup. Finally, M·A·C has taken the saying at its word and brought out the cupcake-inspired collection, Baking Beauties.
This M·A·C collection of ‘baking beauties’ evokes strong visual imagery – of a cake shop filled with rows macarons and swirls of buttercream icing on perfect cupcakes. Colours are super sweet and made for girls who are made of sugar, spice and all things nice. In refernce to the last Archie’s Girls collection, this is more of your ‘Betty’ than your ‘Veronica.’
The hero product of M·A·C Baking Beauties has to be the Face Powder arrives in pretty floral cupcake patterns, pictured below.
Add a luminous finish to skin with Lustre Drops, and dazzle ’em with the Pro Longwear Paint Pots. My personal fave and Lustre Drops create a luminous finish. Pro Longwear Paint Pots add a touch of dazzle. My personal fave MAC mascara, Haute & Naughty Lash, is part of this collection (unchanged in its packaging.)
Lipsticks include Pure Decoration (below left) and Raspberry Swirl (below right.)
The full line-up. Highlights of the collection include a Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm, Nail Lacquers in glittering Bleu Velvet and Pistachio Crème, and to apply it all picture-perfectly, two makeup brushes in limited-edition colours with the pretty teal handles, pictured below.
