The thing I like about nailpolish over lipstick is quite a selfish one. I can see my nails, but I can’t see my lips. So nailpolish can be enjoyed by me as much as by everyone else.
To this end, I was ecstatic that M.A.C has released its first permanent range of nailpolish. The launch, in July 2012, means that now M.A.C Cosmetics lipstick fans can have some of their favourite lip colours on their nails – so you can see it as well as everybody else.
The nail lacquers come in three finishes: cream, frost and pearl (far and away mostly in cremes though) in a total of thirty colours.
Here are some of our favourites:
Morange, a bright cream orange (Cream) and Vintage Vamp, a rich deep wine (Cream)
Girl About Town, a bright blue fuchsia (Cream) and Anti-Fashion, a mid-tone dirty purple with pearl (Frost)
Spirit of Truth, a navy blue (Cream) and Snob, a light neutral pink (Cream)
Here’s the full range of thirty colours, which retail for $26 each and are available 20th August at all MAC locations.
