Friday 29 April saw us at the gorgeous Mollies in Herne Bay for brunch, on the occasion of the launch of both the new products from Innoxa, and the announcement of Miss New Zealand, Ria van Dyke, as the new face of Innoxa.
Ria is just finishing her year as Miss New Zealand, in fact she handed on her crown over the last weekend. The end of an era for her, but the start a new phase in her her life with Innoxa.
It appears to be a great fit for both Ria and Innoxa. I hadn’t realised this, but Innoxa have a no animal-testing policy which is one of the reasons Ria was drawn to Innoxa as a brand.
She has been using the products for the last 3 months and has some very definite favourites, including the Silk Primer.
The Innoxa Silk Primer, pictured below, has an amazing consistency and helps add to foundation longevity and at $29.95 it is an easy add to your makeup kit.
Two new lipsticks were released as well, both with a rather clever ‘pocket’ at the base of the lipstick that holds the actual colour of the lipstick. No more shuffling around in your make-up bag checking the name of each lipstick to get the right one! You can just see the colour right there. Lots of pinks and naturals to choose from. Lovely Lips Mineral Lipstick has moderate to full coverage and has a lovely high shine. The Classic Colour Lipstick Collection has vitamin E added, with a fuller coverage. Both lipsticks retail for $19.95.
Also there is the new Sun Kissed Bronzing Powder. This has a light to medium coverage and is great for all skin types including sensitive. It comes in three shades and has a pretty rose design embossed on the top. This retails at $24.95.
