If there’s one key word that you hear time and time again on the beauty writing circuit, it’s "radiant."

Women have moved on from wanting a matte face and want to glow; they want a natural, healthy and fresh look from their foundation. In response to this demand and placing the brand new product between its famous Luminous Skin Colour Foundation and their Stick Foundation, BECCA have launched Radiant Skin.

Available in New Zealand at Glamorpuss Cosmetics instore and online at www.glamorpusscosmetics.co.nz, Radiant Skin is heavier than the Luminous Skin- which is more like a tinted moisturiser in feel, and lighter than the Stick Foundation. It’s a perfect everyday formulation for those wanting slightly more coverage whilst retaining a fresh-faced, not "too made-up" look.

BECCA the brand itself began back when Australian makeup artist Rebecca Morrice Williams searched for the perfect foundation and created the brand so all women could experience a flawless complexion.

To this end, I had my BECCA Radiant Skin foundation colour-matched to suit my skin, by makup consultant Kerryn Jackson at Glamorpuss Cosmetics in Newmarket.

I turn out to be between Sand and Buff in the foundation, and match it with Banana in the concealer.

Below: Kerryn colour-matches Radiant Skin to my skin. The new is super comfortable on your face all day long and has a buildable coverage for two coats. The formulation has anti-oxidant Vitamin E and sebum absorbing ingredients, and is paraben, alcohol and fragrance-free.

It is a satin finish with a silicone emulsion to ensure a soft, smooth texture.

As I mentioned earlier, Radiant Skin is joined with a concealer in the new range. The BECCA Creamy Concealer comes in a Touche Eclat-style portable click pen, in a water-resistant formula to cover dark circles under the eyes and spots. It is enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E to nourish skin, Orgasol Restore, a new patent pending technology, to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and a nutrient-rich blend from jojoba, mimosa and sunflower plants. Liek Radiant Skin, the concealer is free of Parabens, fragrance, talc and D5.
