Spring is nearly here and Revlon has got you covered from head to toe, or should I say lips to toenails. Sally tries out Revlon’s new spring collection of nail enamels, lip glosses and eye shadows…
Spring is nearly here and Revlon has got you covered from head to toe, or should I say lips to toenails.
A delightful array of colours which is what one would expect when thinking of spring, with blossoms opening, bare legs sans leggings, open toe sandals, and the start of emerging back outdoors.
I tried Revlon’s new spring collection of nail enamels, lip glosses and eye shadows, developed by Gucci Westman.
The nail enamels ($16) include four new shades: Peach Petal, Lilac, Pastelle Minted and Gray Suede. The Lilac and Pastelle Minted nail polishes are fun and beachy. I painted my nails with my favourite, Lilac, and did find it started chipping the next day so using a good top coat would be recommended. The Gray Suede, a more nude tone, is chic, classy, and sexy. Totally up my alley.
The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss collection ($24) includes four new shades of Peach Petal, Pink Pop, Coral Reef and Fire Cracker and there’s also a limited edition Revlon ColourStay 24 Hour Eye Shadow Quad in Summer Suedes ($31).
The lip glosses and eye shadows come in shades and colours all women can have fun with, from Spring BBQs to summer night life. I have been wearing the lipglosses every day, which are nice and smooth in texture and not too sticky like others I have used. And they last.
As the pinks aren’t really suited to my colouring I tried the blue and brown suede eyeshadows on my way out for a pre-spring cocktail.
The Daydreamer Spring 2010 Collection is luscious, bright and fresh, a bit like the start of spring really… and spring is nearly here. Hmmmm how convenient…
