Oooh this is pretty. Come party season, all you really want – apart from a date and a dress that takes off ten pounds and no-one else is wearing – is pretty make-up.
Passion, the holiday range from Clarins, is all about the red and the gold; in Art Deco motifs that are pressed into the powder as well as embellishing the lid.
The word Passion of course is normally associated with Easter more than with Christmas but let’s not nitpick with the good people who name cosmetic ranges; this is a pearler.
And this new compact has the perfect amount of sparkle.
It’s a new take on ‘smoky eyes’ in a new colourway in pearly silvers and pinks in a four eyeshadow palette with two base colours for a subtle satin finish, a liner shade, to intensify and a highlighter to illuminate. I think it would have been a nice idea to have this compact also feature the stunning Art Deco design that the powder has, below.

The Passion Face Palette ($84) comes in gorgeous packaging, which is echoed within on the shimmery illuminating face powder.
