Imagine getting your nails done in Parnell with OPI in a stylish nail salon. Expect it to cost the earth? How about $25? Verdo Nails is a boutique nail salon offering a full range of services with a motto of "affordable luxury."
Verdo Nails offers not only polish and paint but the full range of services, from manicures and pedicures to spa treatments, nail enhancements and acrylics all performed by trained professionals with a passion for the job.
We met owner Amber McIver, (pictured left) with nail technician – and previous owner – Erin, in the small-but-perfectly-formed monochrome salon at 211a Parnell Road.
Amber comes from a background as a hairstylist and after a stint in the corporate world, bought Verdo Nails and had been open just twelve weeks when we popped by.
What struck me most was their friendliness; even with my baby in the salon they were unfazed and charming and before long Erin was dancing around with her – although I can’t say taking a baby is the most relaxing way to get your nails done!
Amber says she wants Verdo to be the type of salon where customers develop a relationship and keep coming back and where they can afford to get their nails done using top products, by professionals, and in an extremely safe and hygenic manner.

They stock the gorgeous MOR range and Verdo Nails is an authorized OPI nail salon and use the OPI range for all nail treatments. Containing no harsh chemicals such as DBP, Toulene and Formaldehyde, OPI provides a safe choice with professional results. Verdo Nails is also firmly anti-MMA (Methyl methacrylate liquid monomers).
A novel touch is that you can even hire out the salon for the evening and host your own mani party; perfect for a birthday or hen’s night treat!

File and Paint $25.00 (15 Minutes)
Mini Manicure $35.00 (30 Minutes)
Caring for the cuticle line, your nails are shaped and buffed with nourishing oil; nails are polished with OPI polish of your choice.
Spa Manicure $50.00 (45 Minutes)
Caring for the cuticle line, nails are shaped and buffed with nourishing oil, followed by a natural sugar skin renewal scrub of the lower arms, hands and fingers to gently buff away dullness and dryness, followed by an effervescent soak to brighten nails, revitalize and hydrate overworked hands. Nails are polished with OPI polish of your choice.
Deluxe Spa Manicure $70.00 (60 Minutes)
Caring for the cuticle line, nails are shaped and buffed with nourishing oil, followed by a natural sugar skin renewal scrub of the lower arms, hands and fingers to gently buff away dullness and dryness, followed by an effervescent soak to brighten nails, revitalize and hydrate overworked hands. A Paraffin Wax is applied to the hands. Finally lower arms and hands are then massaged with a rejuvenating serum and Finishing Butter to Moisturize and Protect hands. Nails are polished with OPI polish of your choice.
Mens Manicure $35.00 (30 Minutes)
Shape and tidy your nails, take care of your cuticle line, followed by a hand massage.
