In honour of the Chinese calendar animal for 2013 – the snake – M.A.C has released a snake-embossed collection, Year of the Snake, with rich purples and shimmering bronzes…
If you’re a die-hard M.A.C fan you may have many of the colours as this isn’t a limited edition collection, but what’s new and has me excited is the reptilian imprints slithering up the lipsticks and coiled around the beauty powder and eyeshadows. The pigments are in the standard packaging, and all pieces are encased in beautiful irridescent-artwork cardboard sleeves.
If you were to choose to get the hero product for this collection I would recommend the Beauty Powder in Shell Pearl, and definitely a lipstick, as they are so unique – plus there’s a colour for everyone with nudes and stronger shades offered.
M.A.C Year of the Snake is available at M.A.C counters from February.
