Fanshawe Street’s inner city carpark was transformed into ArenA1on Thursday 18 November for the launch of Audi’s A1, complete with a racetrack for stunt drivers.

A band marquee was erected on site for Kiwi musicians Jon Toogood and Julia Deans to perform together for the first time in honour of the new car launch.

Guests heard speeches from Audi General Manager Dane Fisher and Huffer’s Steve Dunstan, before being entertained by a stunt car demo known as car ballet. This was almost painfully slow, but then things sped up, as the drivers got into gear and put the cars through their paces as night fell.
