No Stress, baby

We all feel at times that we’re owed a mental health day, and on Thursday night, BFM, together with Neutrogena threw an honorary mental health party: the ‘One Less Stress’ Stress Ball, with Ruby Frost and more playing the Wine Cellar…

Neutrogena and Bfm: easing stress since way back…

As modern women, and jugglers of many balls, it’s very easy for us to carry a lot of stress and tension around all day, and stress is becoming one of the biggest ‘health issues’ of the 21st century.

We all feel at times that we’re owed a mental health day, and on Thursday night, BFM, together with Neutrogena(promoting their new Acne Stress Control range) threw an honorary mental health party: the ‘One Less Stress’ Stress Ball.

With an awesome line up of kiwi artists from Lisa Crawley to Bearcat, Clap Clap Riot to the utterly remarkable Ruby Frost, and a free cocktail to aid relaxation, we were certainly able to wind down.

In the Wine Cellar the atmosphere was cosy and cuddly: complete strangers squashed together on old couches, while we enjoyed the ebullient performance of Bearcat; everyone felt like old friends.

And in the Whammy Bar, dancing was impossible to avoid when faced with the addictive sound of Ruby Frost: and fashion-lovers take note; the new hot trend of an entirely grey head of hair can look super hot, we loved Ruby’s take on nanna-meets-naughty.

All in all we were grateful for a chance to step outside of our sometimes-stressful roles, kick off our shoes and unwind with great music and great company. Thanks BFM and Neutrogena!
