‘A Backstage Story’ shot on location at NZ Fashion Week 2013 by Seun Shote at the shows for NZFD Designers showcase, Surface Too Deep + Tigerlily, and Annah Stretton. Read part I here and part II here.

Calm yet confident was the atmosphere backstage at the first show of the day, making the NZFD Designers showcase a refreshing change of pace.

Bouncing on, you couldn’t contain the energy at Surface Too Deep and Tigerlily’s pre show get ready, and why would you want too? Models posed and flirted in bikinis making summer seem a not-too-distant reality.

The same mood filtered through to backstage at Annah Stretton, with a psychedelic cat throwing shapes and multiple Alices, it was a wonderland performance that translated well on the catwalk.
