The Department Store ended Fashion Week on a high note with a show by Karen Walker, Black Box, Nike and Top Shop with hair and make-up by Stephen Marr and Lucy & The Powder Room.
The instore and in-season show held on Saturday 25th September at The Department Store, 10 Northcroft Street in Takapuna, Auckland, had models descending the spiral staircase and walking the shopfloor among seating and standing room-only guests, customers, media and VIPs.
Karen Walker, who shows in New York rather than her AW11 collection at NZ Fashion Week, had just flown back from NYC and London after a two day break in Rome with husband Mikhail Gherman, hardly catching her breath.

The show opened with Top Shop followed by Nike, then Black Box – including Stolen Girlfriends Club and much more- and concluded with Karen Walker.
