Mini Group Show, NZ Fashion Week 23 September 2010
Turet Knuefermann’s collection was the jewel in the crown of the Mini Group show at New Zealand Fashion Week.
The TK Store collection opened strongly with an extremely wearable black leather boat neck dress that managed to find balance between lady like edge and rock and roll chic.
The simple paired down elegance of a black blazer cut mini dress was striking in its cleanliness and bought comparisons to Stella McCartney’s well loved structure and form.
Leather wet look leggings and a black safari style one piece pant suit will be sure to become easy, wearable options for winter 2011.
The scene-stealing nude superbly draped sheath had a strong Lanvin feel and will be added to my growing TK Store shopping list.
Turet Knuefermann’s approach to the collection had a real sense of grown up relaxed elegance.
Having not visited her flagship boutique in Ponsonby I am looking forward to seeing what the label has to offer; Next week that is; I can’t wait for next season.
