I love a good wedding.
It doesn’t even have to be a real wedding. Every year that I’ve gone to NZ Fashion Week’s NZ Weddings Magazine Bridal Collection Show it has been a highlight of the week, with its ceaseless optimism. Flower girls! Page boys in tiny suits! Blushing brides! Eye candy grooms in suits! The start of a life together is celebrated in this parade of stunning dresses, which included for the first time same-sex models dressed by Sera Lilly, as the marriage equailty bill has recently passed into law in New Zealand.
Another highlight was Vinka Brides retro wedding dresses from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s opening the show.
