Ingrid Starnes: The hunt is over

The clever thing with a back-to-back catwalk show is to create a whole new mood; taking the audience to another place by making the models look differentiated enough from the past show.

Ingrid Starnes – with her able hair and make-up team – managed to do just that with their Autumn Winter 13 show held immediately following that of twenty-seven names on Wednesday 5th September as part of ghd Presents Blue Sky.

Here’s Ingrid Starnes’ blurb on the inspiration behind her AW13 range: "Hunt’s End is a collection that travels to an English country estate for a hunting weekend. It’s made for a cast of characters like Judy Garland in her prime and Princess Margaret; fun, eccentric and dressed for each occasion. The day mixes with the night and fun is had by all. Except, of course, for the foxes."

We’re a big fan of Michael Beel and his creative-yet-professional hair looks. For Ingrid Starnes, Michael Beel and the ghd team presented a full, slightly textured look in just ten minutes between the twenty-seven names show and that of Ingrid Starnes.

He said, "We took the twenty-seven names volume but made the hair more streamlined through the top. We wanted the hair to give off an effortless glamour feel that Ingrid’s clothing epitomises."

And glamorous it certainly is. See our favourite outfits from the colelction, below.
