Local designer Kirsten Tweedie began her label jetsetbohemian at a stall at the Aotea markets in central Auckland to fund her international travel and yoga studies. Kirsten is personally fascinated with the bohemian style and a "nomadic lifestyle and desire to see people taking risks with their wardrobe." This comes through in her designs, with a strong influence from world fashion and ethnic cultures.
She now has two Auckland stores, and a Wellington store opened in 2012, with a mix of both boutique European and High Street brands alongside hand-picked vintage, and a small range designed by Kirsten.
