Mena opened their section of The Mini Group Show with a true bright star in the form of television presenter Miriama Kamo.
However the remainder of the collection seemed to be a somewhat lacklustre series of standard cuts in brightly printed kiwiana and Pasifica themed fabrics.
The formation of the garments was simple but well cut, but the poor choice of prints in green, fuchsia and black seemed to distract from the tailoring.
We have seen a lot of fuchsia pink this season and Mena highlighted their collection with an elegantly waist-cinched maxi with clever detailing of the neck and shoulder shaping.
This piece alone showed strength in the label that we hope to see more of in the future.
