Kathryn Wilson has been announced as Ronald McDonald House Auckland’s ambassador for Fashion Week and her shoes will be walking the runway at Saturday’s Designer Selection Show – on 8th September – for the charity.

The public can buy tickets to the Designer Selection Show gala event that includes a cocktail reception and entertainment, to raise money for the Grafton Mews family accommodation facility. Ronald McDonald House Auckland is a charitable trust that provides shelter and support free of charge to families from all over New Zealand whose child has been admitted into Auckland’s Starship Hospital.

“I am delighted to be a House Ambassador and our first foray together couldn’t be more fitting as I’ll be supporting RMHA’s Night of Fashion Event at New Zealand Fashion Week,” says Kathryn Wilson. “I met Ronald McDonald House Auckland’s CEO Wayne at a charity dinner one night and was shocked to learn that it costs in excess of $4 million each year to run the House. I decided there and then that I wanted to get involved and help this remarkable charity in whatever way I could.”

Tickets to ‘A Night of Fashion’ can be purchased at www.iticket.co.nz search “Ronald McDonald House”

Date: Saturday, 8th September
Time: 7pm doors open for 8.30pm show
