You may remember reading here earlier this month about Sera Lilly’s creative initiative to cast the 35 models for her 2010 New Zealand Fashion Week show from unsigned members of the public, with a casting day at her boutique.
Well, it was a huge success. So much so that Sera is requiring a second casting date.
In excess of 75 girls turned up on Sunday 18th July to her boutique and another 25 coming back during this week, as well as photos of hopefulls coming by email.
Did you miss out? Visit the Sera Lilly boutique at 2 Williamson Ave in Ponsonby Auckland on Sunday 1st August at 3pm to walk and try out.

Here are the requirements for Sera Lilly models at New Zealand Fashion Week 2010:
– Models must be 16 years of age or older by the time of NZFW (September 21st 2010)
– Models must be at least 5’ 8” in height
– Total number of models cast will be 35 (maximum)
– All models chosen for the Sera Lilly autumn/winter 2011 catwalk show will be trained to walk professionally by Amanda at Catwalk Studios
– All of the chosen models will walk in the Sera Lilly autumn/winter 2011 show at New Zealand Fashion Week 2010
– One of the street-cast models will be chosen as the face of the Sera Lilly a/w 2011 lookbook and as the face of the Number One Shoes and Sera Lilly New Zealand Fashion Week 2010 campaign
– All models chosen for the Sera Lilly a/w 2011 show must be in Auckland for the duration of New Zealand Fashion Week 2010 (Sept 21-24).
