Mini Group Show- Whiri
NZ Fashion Week 23 September 2010
The mini group show on day 3 of New Zealand Fashion Week opened with an urban-focused collection from Taranaki-based label Whiri.
Subtle hints of tribal and traditional prints exclusively designed by the label featured strongly throughout the collection which had a clean monochromatic palette with hints of warm orange and soft charcoal greys.
Wearable skinny leg pants with leather patched work knees worked well with more draped cowl backed upper layers.
Structured separates like a grey tailored bodice and peplum waist textured skirt showed a stronger more universal appeal and a stunning hooded grey marle cape stole the show.
