You may recall a while back I styled a Levi’s denim dress as one of a few local bloggers and many worldwide. I am honoured to see it today go on the Levi’s international Facebook page featuring their blogger campaign ‘Around the World in a Levi’s Dress’. It is online here on Levi’s page, and my original post on Thread.co.nz is here.

Fashion designer Collette Dinnigan is an old girl of Wellington Polytechnic (now Massey Uni) and, like Karen Walker going so successfully into eyewear, has just released a new eyewear range. It is designed exclusively for Specsavers and will be available at the 53 Specsavers stores around New Zealand. Below: Eleisha Balmer’s top pick of the Collette Dinnigan for Specsavers range.

Blackmores Alive launched with a jetboat ride on Auckland Harbour and, for me, this pack of tablets and a framed Pinterest style quote on coming alive.

Kapiti Kitchen Raspberry fruit syrup came from Bare PR, with the GO Healthy GO-HTP5 tablets of marine seratonin I’ve been taking to try to get some sleep at nights. Obviously, working late online does NOT help.

The crate is the new cupcake, it seems, in PR. I do like crates.

This wooden crate came from the delish organic coffee company Karajoz coffee, created by Derek Townsend. Loving the ‘K’ cookie.

Sealord celebrated the alliance with their brand ambassador, Ana Schwarz of Masterchef, with this fish n’ chips hamper. Ana is creating recipes using Sealord products such as beer battered hoki with handmade chips, tuna sliders, fish cakes with pear, rocket and walnut. I enjoyed battered hoki and oven chips myself – super yum. Ana’s recipes will be available on line at www.sealord.com

Cloudy Bay sent this divine hamper of Ora King Salmon and crackers with Cloudy Bay flutes and a bottle of sparkling, to celebrate their beautiful new look featuring the hills of Cloudy Bay on Pelorus labels.

In beauty news, Procter & Gamble (P&G) celebrates 175 years of business this year- making it one of the oldest companies in the world – with a consumer base of 4.6 billion people. The P&G 175th dedicated PR campaign aims to highlight the history of the company in New Zealand and around the world through iconic brand stories from Olay, which was first created by Graham Wulff for his wife Dinah in 1952, through to Pantene which was developed with pro-vitamin B5, an ingredient discovered while treating burn victims of WWII.

Bio-Oil was voted the winner of the Best‘Can’t Live Without’ product in the Bauer NZ Best in Beauty 2013 awards presented at the awards ceremony in Auckland’s Langham Hotel in February. The oil famous for improving scars has a wide variety of household beauty uses and in fact the 60ml Bio-Oil product is the biggest selling single skincare item in New Zealand, as recorded by the Aztec scan data grocery & pharmacy combined quarter to 2/12/12.

In more beauty news, Elizabeth Arden have released a brand new Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup, on counter from 11 March 2013, and sent us the helpful how-to video for creating a flawless foundation look using the new complexion-perfecting makeup.
