Lunch with Number One Shoes at Pilkingtons. Loving the Limited Edition leather brand summer styles you can glimpse on the card.

The Week On Thread: Episode 16

The Week On Thread: Episode 16 with highlights in photos of some the things I’ve been up to and enjoying this week at fashion events, beauty launches, and more.

I was in the Sunday Star Times newspaper with Cinderella of Disney On Ice from their High Tea held at Sofitel Auckland, where guests with small people in tow got the incredible chance to meet the Disney On Ice princess ahead of the Auckland ice show. Photo by Carmen Bird Photography.

I’m loving my Lululemon Silverescent top with silver fibres to stop bacteria and be stink-free! Amazing tech and super comfortable and looks great, too.

On Monday, I headed over in the rain to Cox’s Bay Scout Hall for the Kmart summer interiors and homewares launch and morning tea. Lots of homewares bargains and Instagrammable delights in store.

On Wednesday, I attended new season fashion previews for three big retailers: Number One Shoes, The Warehouse, and Seed Heritage.

The most elegant invite of the week was the Number One Shoes luncheon at Pilkington’s where we heard from the top buyers on key trends in footwear and had an amazing lunch. Loving the Limited Edition leather brand summer styles you can glimpse on the card.

We saw some pretty spring colours of Rose & Thorne lingerie at The Warehouse spring launch, themed as a garden party, in GridAKL on Halsey Street, with blossoms hanging from the ceiling, and yummy snacks that made me feel like summer was finally on its way. A big deal for The Warehouse is the Star Wars merch coming ahead of the Star Wars movie this December – and I was pleased to hear they have Jedi robes coming for the guys! What fun. How cute is this new natural cardboard and gold stationery range called Uniti from Warehouse Stationery? It looks far more expensive than it is, with prices starting around $3.99. There are folders, organisers, journals, desk jotters, planners, keyboard notepads, and everything else you need to stylishly organise your life.
