In 2013, it is 10 years since Bio-Oil was launched in New Zealand and now the top-selling skincare product is raising $25,000 to help women with breast cancer…

Back in 2003, Bio-Oil was relatively unknown. Now, it’s the recipient of numerous awards, has a market share in the NZ scar management category of 65.9%, the 60ml size of Bio-Oil is New Zealand’s #1 selling skincare product, and is the product most recommended by GPs and Midwives for scars and stretchmarks.

Bio-oil also created a whole new category of scar management oils, and paved the way for the body oils craze in the current beauty market.

We received this gorgeous 10-year celebration tin of tea containing Bio-oil’s botanicals of chamomile, lavender, rosemary and calendula oils, along with Vitamins A and E, and its trademarked PurCellin Oil.

This October 2013 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in support of its partnership with the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF), Bio-Oil is aiming to raise $25,000 towards helping women with breast cancer by once again turning a delightful shade of pink. This year Bio-Oil is also supporting a new initiative run by the NZBCF this year called BRA Day; Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day. There will be a free information evening run by medical experts providing information about breast reconstruction after breast cancer. This will be on Wednesday 16th October at Auckland University School of Medicine, Grafton Campus 6.30pm. To attend, contact 0800 BC NURSE (0800 226 8773) or see www.nzbcf.org.nz/bra-day for more information.
