Airyday new generation sun protection ‘skinscreens’ where SPF and high-performance skincare collide

Airyday is a part of a new generation of sun protection known as ‘skinscreens’ where SPF and high-performance skincare collide. The mission: to create a range of multifunctional skinscreens and skincare products with beautiful textures, that slip right into daily routine, all whilst looking after your skin.

Australian woman Frances van der Velden never liked sunscreen, until she got skin cancer at age 36. As an alternative to the sticky, white residue sunscreens she found and didn’t like, Frances developed Airyday – an anti-sunscreen sunscreen, eliminating all the things that people who hate sunscreen don’t like.

Airyday is part of a new generation of sun protection known as ‘skinscreens’ where SPF and high-performance skincare collide. It comes in a variety of finishes and can be used as a SPF or as a skin primer. They have the highest SPF rating available, SPF50+, are UVA and UVB and protect from blue light.

It launched just last week so you may not have heard of it yet but definitely look out for it as it’s sea-life friendly, vegan, in 100% recycled aluminium tubes made from post-consumer and post-industrial waste, the first in the world to do so. Available at www.airyday.co

Launching with two products; the Clear As Day SPF50+ Dreamscreen is a weightless, completely clear gel jam-packed with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, E & F leaving skin hydrated with an envious glow. With protection by day, and perfection by night, the brand will also be launching their Night Rain Sleep Mask, a cool creamy pillow-mask to treat tired, stressed skin.

All products are available to purchase from airyday.co, for $55.00 NZD (Clear as Day SPF50+ Dreamscreen) and $40.00 NZD (Night Rain Sleep Mask).
