This is different to any eye product I’ve seen before; Dr.Hauschka Eye Contour Day Balm is not a cream or serum, but a balm; a yellow, waxy day balm that is a soft cream on your fingertips to smooth around the eyes.
Not recommended at night time (use Dr.Hauschka Eye Solace in your evening skincare regime), the day balm is a rich wax-to-cream with a gorgeous texture and feel on the skin.
Dabbed daily around the eye starting from the inner corner, after cleansing+, the 10ml tub should last approximately 9 months.
With its thinner skin producing less oil, the area around one’s eyes is susceptible to premature aging. This balm contains plant oils, extracts and beeswax to support elasticity and visibly smooth wrinkles and protect the delicate eye area.
As with all Dr.Hauschka products, it uses holistic oils and botanicals; here, cocoa butter and jojoba oil moisturize and protect against dryness, camellia and anthyllis extracts soothe tender skin, and Neem and silk powder support and strengthen delicate skin. I wasn’t familiar with Nee oil; it’s a vegetable oil pressed from an evergreen tree in the Indian subcontinent.
