They’re calling bee venom "nature’s alternative to botox." We attended the Bee Pure launch with its spokeswoman, international supermodel, New Zealander, and mother Kylie Bax on 8th October for high tea at The Conservatory at Sky City Grand hotel to learn more about it.
Obviously, it contains bee venom (so don’t use it if you’re allergic to bee stings!) but Bee Pure also contains a potent cocktail of anti-ageing and skin smoothing ingredients: peptides, 20+ manuka honey, Jojoba Oil, and Aloe Vera.
How does it work?
The tiny amount of bee venom causes micro-swelling, which instantly smoothes the skin, while also stimulating long-term collagen and elastin renewal. The addition of manuka honey reduces inflammation and redness. “I find that Bee Pure eye cream reduces the fine lines that are often emphasised by make-up. And I like how it creates a barrier between my skin and the outside elements” says Kylie Bax.
So, what are the products in the range?
The Bee Pure range initially has three skincare products: an eye cream at $60, face mask at $95, and serum at $70.
Where can you buy it?
Bee Pure is available online at their website shop, www.beepure.co.nz
