Beauty media took to the skies for a trip via helicopter to Cable Bay winery on Waiheke Island with BDM Grange and Bio-Oil…
It was the day after the major tornado rocked Auckland city having us wonder if we might be travelling by ferry instead – but the winds had passed and it was a clear day as we boarded our helicopters at Heletranz in Albany. After a beautiful scenic flight over Milford and Lake Pupuke to the harbour, we flew over the Waitemata Harbour towards Rangitoto. The Pohutukawa trees were just starting to blossom red below.
Next we could see Rakino Island, Motatapu and then Waiheke Island below and landed on the lawn at the winery.
On arrival at Cable Bay Vineyard, we had a wine tasting and a tour of the cellar and production areas – where they also make olive oil for the restaurant table, from the olive trees outside. Thank you Bio-Oil for your hospitality on an amazing day!
