There was such a consumer and retailer-led demand for a collagen tablet which you could buy at healthstores that Go Healthy’s founder Lisa King has launched Go Anti-Wrinkle and Go Hair Skin and Nails.

Thread attended the launch today at Non Solo pizza in Parnell, and over a long Italian lunch, heard from Lisa King how she came to develop the new product.

There is an existing collagen capsule on the market (Puraz) but it uses bovine collagen, and it is a mailorder / Internet purchase. Healthstores and pharmacies were looking for a top quality, local product that really worked that they could provide for their customer’s requests.

Thread.co.nz likes that Go Healthy New Zealand’s Collagen Support is all marine-based, rather than bovine (from cows.) It uses natural marine collagen from shellfish to improve skin appearance, with the best improvement around three to four weeks in, and continued improvements after that.

You take 1 – 3 capsules daily at night on an empty stomach (not after a huge Italian lunch like we just had!) and aid the support of your hair, skin and nails, from the inside out. It retails for $49.90 for 60 Vegecaps for the anti-wrinkle, and $29.90 for 50 Vegecaps for the Beauty Support. You can buy it at Health 2000 stores, at major pharmacies, or see www.gohealthy.co.nz for more details.
