The luxury skincare brand famous at hotels and spas around the world, [comfort zone], launched its Sacred Nature line in NZ this week – aptly at Butterfly Creek animal park in Mangere – as one of its ingredients is organic Butterfly Bush extract.
At the launch, media heard about the history of the [comfort zone] brand, and the benefits of Sacred Nature and got to witness a massage demonstration using the organic face and body products.
Sacred Nature is a professional anti-ageing range for both face and body, aimed at combating environmental and age damage. It is 99% natural with a 20-32% organic active percentage.
Tradeshows have taught them that the trend is for sustainable, fair trade products with an ‘eco-lifestyle’ trend and that consumers value brands with an environmental commitment. Consumers want trust, security and health. [comfort zone] embodies this, saying they don’t want to be the biggest beauty company, they want to be the most ethical and sustainable. They carry this through with policies such as 100% renewable energy used in production.
Sacred Nature features ingredients from nature, which are all certified organically-grown, including buriti oil for antioxidant defence, Butterfly Bush extract for DNA cellular protection, Shea butter and jojoba oils for nourishing and elasticizing and orange water for remineralising.
The Sacred Nature range looks beautiful too, with its fully-recyclable packaging.
The range has nine bio-certified products including cleansing milk ($60), eye cream-gel ($55), face cream ($110), fluid ($89), gommage body exfoliator ($75), mask ($65), night cream ($100), body oil ($89), and lip balm ($36.)
After the launch, we took a look around the butterfly and crocodile enclosures. Below, a gigantic exotic butterfly dwarfing my hand.
Avoid having lizard skin – it only looks good on lizards like this cute little guy – and use good skincare and sunblock!
I also met a giant crocodile – which would make a lot of handbags – but is perfectly safe and sound in his pool at Butterfly Creek!
A butterfly even landed on my Sacred Nature bag, below.
Sacred Nature is available at top hotels, salons and spas. For stockists phone 0800 252 530.
