Evolu began fifteen years ago, in founder Kati Kasza’s kitchen, so aptly enough, Evolu joined with Masterchef runner-up Ana Schwarz to create dishes for the launch of their Regulating Gel Cleanser at a ‘Supper for your Skin’.

Beauty media had a special treat in store at Main Course commerical kitchen in Auckland on Wednesday 22nd August; we got to sample dishes specially-created by Ana Schwarz using ingredients found in Evolu’s botanical and vegetable ingredient-rich products.

The six-course sampler began with the reason for the season; the brand new Evolu Regulating Gel Cleanser.

This gel cleanser contains lentil seed extract which is proven to limit sebum production and minimise pores and shininess, and New Zealand native kumerahou (gumdigger’s soap)which lathers up naturally but doesn’t strip skin.

The food created with its ingredients was a mint and cumin lentil cake with rare venison, tzatziki and cucumber jelly (jelly=gel cleanser, get it?)

Evolu Regulating Gel Cleanser retails for $39.99 and is available from 1 October 2012. See www.evolu.com for stockists.
