Imagine a beauty product that improves and rejuvenates your skin while you sleep.
Your dreams may have just come true with the introduction of Elizabeth Arden Intervene Skin Tone Perfecting Capsules ($89.00)
I was keen to try something that would do so much for my skin while I did nothing, and I wanted to see whether it would improve the ‘problem’ red areas on my face left by acne.
I tried the product on and off for approximately two weeks and really enjoyed using it. Although I think the longer you use this the more benefit you will see, I think I have noticed a small difference in my skin. My skin tone appears clearer and less red, and my mother even commented on how good my skin is looking at the moment.
The texture is not like anything I have put on my face before, which I really liked. I guess it would be most like a serum – not oily and greasy.
Designed to be used at night, each Vitamin C packed, preservative – free capsule is said to reverse the visible effects of stress and sun damage, dullness caused by age spots, discolouration, or even the dark spots left by acne. It certainly brings new meaning to the phrase ‘beauty sleep’.
The key ingredient is of course Vitamin C, which is known for its many benefits to the skin including brightening, exfoliating, moisturising and revitalising. It is also a proven collagen booster and powerful antioxidant, and has been formulated for those aged 25-39 in mind. I am going to continue to use this product in the hope that I see further improvements to my skin.
