Invisible Zinc is well-known for its sunscreen. Now, it’s stepped into the cosmetics market with the release of UV Silk Shield Foundation.

The new wind-up make-up stick foundation gives flawless coverage with mineral sunscreen Zinc Oxide, without using any chemical sunscreens. It has no parabens, no titanium dioxide, and no chemical UV filters.

Also importantly, it won’t whiten your skin with that chalky I’ve-just-applied-suncreen look.

I’d wear this when I want a heavier coverage than a tinted moisturiser or tinted sunscreen. Its finish is cream to powder, and it is available in Light/Highlighter, Medium and Tan.

I’m wearing the Light shade which is a great all-purpose light-skinned shade for yellow undertones. It is fairly dry (as it’s a cream-to-powder) so I would not forgo your moisturiser underneath. I found it buildable (I added more layers as concealer where required) and it didn’t flake.

It provides SPF30+ and is designed for women to wear all year round, not just in summer and with an April release date, you can wear it starting from this Autumn, and protect your face while looking flawless.

Invisible Zinc UV Silk Shield Foundation retails for $39.99 from selected pharmacies, some Countdown supermarkets, and online at www.invisiblezinc.com
