Not the most modern in the room or the most avante garde, but just quite simply, beautiful.
Now, the iconic couturier has released a new fragrance, Live in Love. It is a green floral, reflecting Oscar’s love for gardening. The top note is ginger orchid and green muguet, the heart is jasmine and orange flower and the base is sandalwood and cedar.
The bottle was created to represent the many facets of a woman’s life lived to the fullest, in love.
The print campaign features a 1950s style fashion illustration dripping in emeralds (just your Italian woman’s day-to-day, clearly) with the catchphrase, "The new fragrance for women created by a man who adores them. And who doesn’t want to be adored? If his clothes make you look, and feel, like a million dollars, it follows his fragrance will too. You will be totally adorable.
Oscar de la Renta Live in Love Eau de Parfum spray retails for $165 for 100ml and $135 for 50ml, available at selected department stores, pharmacies and perfumeries nationwide. It is released April 2012, just in time for Mother’s Day, so you can make your mother feel just as beautiful as Oscar de la Renta would have her do.
