New nudes

Here’s my new Go-With-Anything colour; OPI’s Dulce de Leche – the common name for milk caramel in Spanish – is the new nude nail varnish shade that you can wear with anything without fear of The Clash…

Dulce de Leche is a brown-toned nude pink with a good tint of colour (pictured left).

If you want a nude with less strength to it, try OPI Samoan Sand. It is more neutral with less pink undertones. I’d classify it as a flesh-tone polish, and as everyone knows flesh-tones have to suit your own skin-tones or they can be difficult to wear. Some people find them slightly scary if they match your fingers so perfectly, that it looks like you have skin where your nails should be! For that reason, I think flesh-tone polish should complement, rather than completely blend in with, your own skin.

Love being in the pink?

OPI have just brought out SoftShades, a range of four pink hues perfect for girly girls, brides and French manicures. How about Isn’t that Precious?, below left, and Pink-A-Doodle, below right, for a cute baby pink.

The range also includes I Think in Pink and It’s a Girl!

Baby pink, indeed.
