I look back on the skin I had in my early twenties and think it was great. Of course, back then I didn’t; I complained of patchy, combination skin and spots, of course, not to mention tiredness from what I imagined was the incredible stressful life I led back then. You know, what to wear, what film to go to, boy trouble, and so on. Young people now seem to have a lot more going on.

Clarins have picked up the gauntlet of the challenge of bringing flawless skin for younger women. The range, Daily Energizer, is a non-oily and refreshing collection that uses botanicals such as green coffee for toned skin, white tea for a radiant complexion and redcurrant for a fresher complexion.

It’s a light orange colour with a fresh, fruit scent.

The Daily Energizer product range includes options to suit everyone’s needs for different textures, in a cream-gel for normal to combination skin, a cream for mormal to dry skin, or a lotion for those who like a lighter, oil-free moisturizer along with SPF15 protection (30ml $50).

The range includes a Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel (75ml $30), to be followed by the delightfully-monikered Wake-Up Booster (125ml $39). I could do with that some mornings. It tones and refreshes and protects against free radicals casued by stress and pollution.

Daily Energizer Cream (30 ml $46) is a moisturizing cream with a shine-free texture that helps diminish spots by slowing down excess sebum production using the botanical, Alchemilla.
