To celebrate the launch of Skinfood re-designing its packaging and its new formulations, we got to create recipes using their ingredients at a cooking school.

Beauty media headed along to Main Course in Beaumont Street Auckland to get hands-on with some of the natural ingredients in Skinfood products and make our own delicious kiwifruit mocktail and muesli crunch.

What we like: it looks modern and pretty on your bathroom shelf, it’s affordable (around the $10-$15 mark), it’s paraben-free, it’s readily available at supermarkets, it’s suitable for men and women, and it can be used by all ages.

Below: I’m enjoying the Kiwifruit Sparkler drink at the launch. Kiwifruit features in a number of Skinfood products, including the Cleans All cleanser.

There are now fifteen products in the range which has completely undergone new branding and packaging. From November they are releasing soaps called Skinfood Body Bars in four flavours: Nourishing – rosehip, orange, wheatgerm and apricot, Cleansing – manuka honey, lime and avocado, Exfoliating – ground macadamia shell, sweet almond and orange, and Mud & Honey -natural volcanic mud and manuka honey.

Here’s what they look like…
