There comes a time when one of these is a pretty good idea, and now is that time for me (sob!). Made in Nelson, this Oxygen Skincare (www.oxygenskincare.co.nz) organic eye creme is lovely to use. I really dislike strongly scented skincare products, so it was great to find that this eye creme smells of all the goodness that’s gone into it and nothing more.
It uses some interesting ingredients, and I do love an interesting ingredient (it feels like you’ve stumbled on a magical little secret) – New Zealand hops for one, and cyathea cumingii leaf extract, a species of New Zealand fern (sustainable grown) for another.
The Oxygen Eye Creme is a non-greasy, non-irritating product that provides gentle, lasting moisture to a sensitive area. Where you can sometimes get away with using something not so great on other parts of the face, there’s not a lot of room for error around the eye. Not for me, anyway. At $55.00 per 10ml, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but I’m sold on it and feel it’s well worth the investment. I’ll be sticking with it!
