What are they wearing at Parachute? Madeleine Brighouse, our Thread teen blogger and Doc Marten’s Ambassador, is at Parachute bringing us the highlights of the festival.
Read her Day 1 highlights of Parachute here and her next instalment of Festival Flair here to see what everyone’s wearing onsite.
Here, we take a look at Madz’ picks of Street Chic seen around the dusty, muddy lanes of Parachute Music Festival 2011…
Pictured top left:
Olivia – all her clothes were from op shops and trademe. I loved her hat.
Katie – all her clothes were from op shops, and her glasses were from Le Specs.
Below: Tasha and Joel from Auckland. Tasha’s hair was awesome! Her tee-shirt was from one of the stalls at Parachute.
Below: Nico Beri wears a shirt from Spacesuit in Wellington, glasses from LA, and his hat was from Von Zipper. Again, I loved his hat!
Below: Alice Johansen wears a top from Tempt, skirt from Cotton On, belt from Principals, boots from Hannahs and the bag was her Dad’s bible bag. I liked her hair and I loved her bag.
Caitlin Stubbis wears a tee-shirt from Korea, cardigan from Cotton On and jeans from Wrangler.
Rubin Mathews wears a tee-shirt from Cotton On, jeans from Jay Jays, slippers from the Warehouse and headband from a stall in Tauranga.
Ethan Shaw wears a tee-shirt from a stall at Parachute, and jeans from Wrangler.
Below: Chloe Davies – jacket from an op shop, tee-shirt from Jay Jays, pants from Ezibuy, shoes from Rubi Shoes and hat from Ripcurl.
Shannon-Lee wears self customized cap from Parachute, tee-shirt is from ZooYork, shorts from Glassons, leopard print jandals from Rubi Shoes.
Freya wears ‘As I lay dying’ band tee-shirt, skirt from the floor of her room, just plain awesome socks, scarf from a Parachute stall and shoes she bought specially to be wrecked at Parachute. They both dyed their own hair! I can’t wait til I am allowed to do my hair. They were my favourite people we met all day.
Brooke wears a Kathmandu top tucked in, shorts from Glassons and the vintage boots belonged to her mother, who wore them when she worked on a horse ranch in Canada when she was 17.
Her boots were just incredible!
