OUTFIT POST: What I’ve Been Wearing In February 2021

Out of office, Waitangi day. Did you get away? I went tenting at Martins Bay and swam, ate charlie’s gelato and pizza, and had fish n chips at Snells Beach. I definitely want to check out the sculpture park next time. Pictured: swing while you’re winning, Brick Bay. Wearing bell sleeve dress by Mango.

Returning to my old school I attended 100 years ago, as an alumni now. Wearing striped wrap dress by Hello Molly, boots by Mi Piaci, bag and eyewear both by Karen Walker and vintage scarf.

Thinking about tenting in a giant garlic ? clove. Wearing leopard spot dress, at Martin’s Bay Holiday Park.

Friday ‘n rose at the beach. What are you doing for the long weekend? I wear a vintage linen broderie anglaise shirt from Everlasting with Love, Stradivarius denim skirt, and Karen Walker eyewear.

Beep beep! Took my new (old) Jeep camping for the first time, at Martin’s Bay. Wearing: vintage sundress home sewn, eyewear by Trelise Cooper.

Me with my glasses on; saving this for the back jacket of my first crime novel. I’m trying to get things done on my to-do list, and staying out of the rain, watching it through the window. Might be an unpopular opinion, but I love rainy days in summer, do you?

In Newmarket wearing a black leopard print vintage dress by a South African designer over a white cotton Hugo Boss shirt and a trompe l’oeil bow I sewed myself.

So much fun with this beautiful soul Anna at @everlasting_recyclingwithlove, her weekly secondhand fashion sale supporting women’s charities. I called in today to volunteer to hang up clothes (but accidentally may have bought a few things ?) and it is always such an amazing honour to be around this lady and hear about what she does. By the way, if you can’t make it to the Mt Albert weekly $5 Friday fashion sales, you can shop the online sales nationwide. You can also contact them to donate good secondhand women’s and children’s clothing.

Sun’s out, buns out. Slightest sniff of sunshine after the week’s rainstorm and I’m in the hot tub.

Ahoy matey ⚓ I see a weekend on the horizon. Feeling nautical but nice in top from Everlasting, Shakuhachi dress, vintage webbing belt.
