Street Chic at Harry’s

Wellington is well-known for sporting black on black, but most punters pulled some colour out of the wardrobe for the week’s events. I myself was guilty of a dark ensemble at Wellington Fashion Week at Harry’s on Thursday night…

Behind the scenes at Wellington Fashion Week everyone was dressed to impressed, and those who’ve been around the fashion scene for a while were totally prepared to answer the question “Who are you wearing tonight?”

Wellington is well-known for sporting black on black, but most punters pulled some colour out of the wardrobe for the week’s events. I myself was guilty of a dark ensemble on Thursday 19th, but I assured a fellow blogger that I was going incognito on my first night to scope out the feel.

I was pleased to see that I was not overdressed. I think I’d always rather be overdressed than underdressed, and who doesn’t loved to get dolled up for special events? Everyone looked fabulous, whether in Gucci or a vintage school blazer from the 90s – as one stylish woman informed me on her look.

Check out some of the looks we spotted in the Harry’s media suite.
