There has been a definite lack of good guy fashion. Luckily we got two for this post to help save the day.

ZU is a rapper, and the sharpest-dressed guy at Parachute. Both his shirt and pants are from I Love Ugly. His sweatshirt he got from an Op Shop, and his shoes are a vintage pair his drummer gave him. They didn’t manage to survive his first set at Parachute (he had two), and they are patched up at the back with gaffer tape! I loved his old college bag too.

And also there was Nick Raven who had on a vintage shirt, shoes from Pat Menzies here in Auckland and his hat was from Cotton On. Other than ZU, he was the first guy we found that had put thought into his clothes. Pity we found him on the last day.

Angel Mattakad was dressed in Supre. I loved the colour combo and the great little bag.

These two girls (below) might have been my absolute favourites for the whole weekend. Hayley Rosser had a vintage/Op Shop look from head to almost toe, with her shoes coming from Wild Pair. Lizzie Langridge had a fabulous Riddle Me This top, some 90’s Pulp shoes she found in an op shop and a lovely tartan bag that she made.

In the early hours of the morning there seemed to be a lot of people dressed as animals. I have no idea why – but we included two of the best. My friend Tim took them for me.

So Parachute closes. And I will be back again next year. I love everything about Parachute – the music, the people and the clothes/people watching. See you next year.
