Wellington Street Chic – April 2011
Thread.co.nz captured Autumn style in the capital recently.
It appears that the usual black worn by many Wellingtonians is slowly departing.
Here we met five well-dressed at a pop-up store opening on 31 March and asked them where they got their threads.
See the photos from the opening night of the pop-up store In Good Company, online on Thread.co.nz here.
Ella wears a gorgeous pink tailored jacket she made herself. A skirt from Valleygirl has been worn as a dress, shoes from I Love Paris, vintage jewellery and a leather bag her mother bought her in Europe.
Micheal sports a yellow tie knitted by a friend, a YD shirt, purple pants from a friend, Windsor Smith shoes and glasses by Parasite.
Sean from Ireland wears jeans by Just Jeans, shoes from Wild Pair and a Barkers woollen jersey.
Hillary (right) wears a lace top from a Nelson Hospice shop, skirt and shoes from Paper Bag Princess and a vintage shop belt. She also has a gorgeous corset bra she found in a vintage store that she wore as Marie-Antoinette at a recent party.
Amelia (left) wears a dress from Paper Bag Princess, lace jacket and shoes she got off her mum.
The jewellery Hillary and Amelia wear is homemade, inspired by Charlotte Penman and D’luxe.
