Mi Piaci’s summer collection of shoes is out-of-this-world-gorgeous.

‘Mi piaci’ is Italian for ‘I like you’ and, indeed there is plenty to like in the current SS13 collection with some of the coolest heels, and the classiest flats I have seen in a long time.

The visual campaign was shot on location in Italy around the countryside and against the shores of the longest lake in Italy, Lake Maggiore, located in the Lake District south of the Alps. It’s a place teeming with a history of beautifully-dressed women and glamorous style, and thus is aptly the locale of the Mi Piaci shoot.

Here’s the visual campaign with beautiful imagery, followed by Thread’s top picks from this season…

I think this white shoe with gold heel is so hot right now and if I were cast as a Bond Girl who works as a sexy secretary in the Foreign Office by day, I would definitely wear these. Cambrai $280, also available in black with a silver heel.

This deep tan leather bag is the perfect colour and size for overnight jaunts or perhaps a Roman Holiday.
