Spring Bridal Expo
Otago Museum Dunedin
Brides to be gathered at the Otago Museum on a spring Sunday to attend the Elegant Wedding Shows – Spring Bridal Expo (www.elegantweddingshows.co.nz)
Forty-four exhibitors were there to discuss all things bridal with the attendees.
Organiser Sandy Jeffries greeted me and Brett my fiancé at the entrance handing us a carry bag and encouraged us to taste the delectable chocolate cupcakes made by Kate McKinlay of Cakes by Kate.
My favourite part about the expo was that vendors were very polite and professional, handing us material in an unobtrusive, non-pushy manner. We got some great ideas for our up and coming December wedding and we able to chat with many of the vendors we have hired.
A stand-out was the emergency kits for brides, grooms and bridal parties. These are created by Embrace designer boxes (www.embrace.net.nz). They are great for someone who wants to make sure all possible wedding scenarios are covered on the day.
I was also very excited to see Dunedin has another wedding planner available. Emma Brandso from Cherry on the top (www.cherryonthetop.co.nz) is there for all your wedding planning and event management needs.
I came away from the show with some fresh inspiration and felt relaxed and happy about the wedding planning process.
